GMAT Online Proctored Mac Setup
The GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) Online is delivered through Pearson VUE's OnVUE on Mac. The exam includes a live human proctor and continuous webcam/screen recording. The format dropped the AWA section in 2024; in 2026 it is the GMAT Focus Edition.
GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council) contracts Pearson VUE for delivery. OnVUE on Mac uses ScreenCaptureKit + AVFoundation, both of which honor window privacy. The overlay is technically invisible. The GMAT covers Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal, and Data Insights in Focus Edition. Heavy time pressure plus calculation density makes AI assistance technically tempting but procedurally risky - GMAC reviews recordings for behavior anomalies, and MBA admissions committees take cancellation reports seriously.
Yes, through OnVUE in most regions. Availability varies; check mba.com.
Built-in on-screen calculator only for the Quant section in some configs; check the latest test guide.
Same delivery infrastructure, same OnVUE pipeline, same overlay invisibility.

Fracture runs a native floating overlay that sets the macOS window privacy flag. It is 100% excluded from screen capture feeds, window lists, and proctor recordings.
